Every school district in Colorado has at least one of Eco-Cycle's Waste Reduction Activity Kits thanks to a distribution project funded by the Colorado Governor's Office of Energy Conservation. The kits are also being used in twenty-six different states and three Canadian Provinces by teachers and organizations such as recycling companies, public works departments and the U.S. Forest Service.

Here is what teachers, curriculum specialists and solid waste professionals are saying about these award wining lessons and activities:

"We are overwhelmed with requests for the kit; it is booked solid. We could have used 10 kits instead of four." (Denver Public Schools)

"It is learning while doing at its best." (Colorado Springs Schools)

"We are a small school—isolated in North Park. Many times my students don't feel environmental concerns are their concerns, but with this program they became much more aware and eager to be active." (North Park School District)

"I don't have time to organize such a complete program. It was wonderful to have it done and done so well." (El Paso School District #28)

"I have found the Eco-Cycle kit to be a great help to the design of my program. It is comprehensive in it's coverage of solid waste, and unique in providing all the props and materials needed to carry out activities. It is a quality educational tool." (St. Paul Neighborhood Energy Consortium)
